Well the tables sure have turned this week! Not only am I taking this opportunity for a little summertime vacation in Las Vegas during the World Series of Poker (in contrast to the previous five years where I was crazy busy working as a reporter for PokerNews), I’m dabbling in a little play…
I entered Day 1b of the $1,111 WSOP Little One for One Drop and was pretty impressed with myself getting to bag up chips at the end of the day, which was when I had this chat with the lovely Rossana Woo (still an odd feeling being on the receiving end of a PokerNews interview!).
Unfortunately Day 2 didn’t go so well with my short stack, grinding it down to nada after an hour of no hands; but I couldn’t help but leave smiling as I had a blast, was filled with gratitude for the floods of support I received and, most importantly, every player donated money to the One Drop Foundation in the process.
Now, I’m all warmed up for the WPT500 presented by Party Poker at Aria Poker Room tomorrow.
Wish me luck!
(P.S if you curious about the patch I’m wearing, check out REG here!)
