Anchor + Producer
Boasting a buy-in of $100,000 each, WPT Alpha 8 brings together lifestyles of the rich and famous with high stakes poker. A8 premiered on Fox Sports 1 (FS1) in 2013 with Lynn Gilmartin as anchor and segment producer and is now in its third season, airing on Fox Sports 1 (FS1), Mondays 7pm PT/10pm ET.
Lynn is passionate about eating well and living a health lifestyle, which has resulted in her dependence on countless juice bars along her travels. With this deep appreciate for such venues, and after completing her coaching certificate in holistic wellbeing at Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC, she opened Jooce Bar, a health-conscious bar serving cold-pressed juices, smoothies and raw vegan bowls in Australia’s popular tourist destination of Palm Cove in Far North Queensland. Lynn’s recipes compliment the local tropical environment, featuring coconut milk, dragon fruit and mangoes as the main stars of the menu.
From interior design, recipe development, resourcing and marketing — almost everything except for the actual building of the shop (which her brother and father took care of) — Lynn create the entire brand and store on her own.
Lynn is a passionate partner in Rancho Uha, a permaculture project driven by Permacultura Mexico. Using nature as their guide, the semi-arid land in Guanajuato, Mexcio is the holistic center for production, education and demonstration of permaculture principles, with the mission to create a shift in social consciousness toward a more regenerative culture, while producing goods of optimal nutritional quality.
